Bannerberry Project

This started off as project to hunt through one of my favourite strains I've grown many times previously - Margarita. During the planning stage i discovered a new test strain sent to me by Outcast Autos - Rotten Apple.

So armed with a pack of Bannerberry reg autos and the Margarita and Rotten Apple autos the hunt was on.

Lots of beans were popped and selections made with lots of phenos pollenated but only a few chosen.

One male really stood out. Tall, red and handsome he smelled of sweet strawberry laces.

Strains made from this project are. Beatbox, Strawberry Shortbread, Strawberry Margarita, Grenadine and Dirty Skank.

I also used the Rotten Apple pheno to to start the Bazingaberry project.

Bazingaberry Project

The goal was to select at least one female and one male from seeds just made during the Bannerberry project.

Using the seeds harvested from pheno 2 of Rotten apple and out of many germinated seeds one male and 5 females were chosen. Only one of these 5 was chosen as the official Bazingaberry mum with one taller phenos seeds saved for a future outdoor project.

I locked in the desired traits resululting in a super fast dense strain with sour and sweet apple terps whilst also being a super dank kushy smoke.

Substance D x Osage Project

Now to add a little power and funk to the library. The male chosen out of a pack of 10 was seriously funky. He smelled of cheesy feet dipped in petrol. Out of 20 or more plants i was testing I chose just two females to pollinate. A Strawberry Shortbread and a Strawberry Margarita.

Strawberry Shortbread seeds became new strain Bannered Substance.

Strawberry Margarita seeds became new strain Iced Molotov.
